Leading plastic recycler and extruder, Centriforce Products, is soon to launch the UK's first external construction hoarding from waste plastic packaging collected mainly from large retail outlets.

Made using tried and tested materials and manufacturing techniques pioneered at its Liverpool factory, the new product fulfils a growing demand from the construction industry for more sustainable, recyclable materials "This development uses the experience we have accumulated over two decades in the vanguard of recycled plastics, and represents a potential step change in the amount of retail packaging waste which can be reused directly in the sector," says Business Manager, Barry Keeling

"When it is launched in first quarter of 2008 it will be the most sustainable alternative to the five million or so plywood hoardings used each year on construction sites across the UK.".
