Chelmer integrated package hot water
cylinders
Dual Thermostore range of high performance hot water cylinders from Chelmer Heating Services are exceptionally energy efficient.
With modern building standards specifying high levels of insulation and double glazing, the heat loading to maintain comfortable domestic living conditions has been considerably reduced The introduction of condensing boilers and the efficiency of modern zone-controlled underfloor heating systems has also lowered running costs even further

Ecocat new high-efficiency water cylinder
Ecocat has been developed by Chelmer Heating which provides a space saving solution for both heating and hot water storage.
The Dual Thermostore range of high performance hot water cylinders from Chelmer Heating Services capitalise on these developments and are exceptionally energy efficient.
They have been designed for multi heat-source inputs, and are capable of providing virtually unlimited hot water for domestic use and underfloor heating.
They are ideal for specification by professional builders in housing projects, including refurbishment or conversion of larger properties into smaller units.

Ecodan low carbon heating ready for mass market
Mitsubishi Electric extend range of Ecodan water and space heating products with two new models to offer viable and sustainable low carbon system for low cost, low energy heating.
They are also particularly suited to self-build operations, where ease of installation combined with long-life, low-maintenance, high-performance and lower overall costs are particularly important.
These are integrated package products comprising insulated copper cylinder encased in plastic-coated steel with a white finish.
The sealed system features a primary expansion vessel with safety valve, complete with fully fitted control valves, thermostats and time clock.
Installation is simple, with compression connections for the boiler, underfloor heating and hot water systems.
Three Dual Thermostore cylinders are available in the range.
The smallest at 160 litre capacity would be suitable for a property with a single bath plus shower, and has provision for boiler input only.
The larger units at 200 and 280 litres respectively have capacity for 2 + 2 or 3 + 3 bath and shower installations.
Each can also accept additional recovered energy sources, typically from solar power, cookers and wood burning stoves, with ground source heat pump input in addition for the largest unit.
Dual thermostat systems provide maximum efficiency, with a cylinder upper level temperature set at 70andordm;C to respond to all domestic hot water demands, provided at mains water pressure, eliminating the need for shower pumps.
The lower level is set at 35andordm; -55C for the underfloor heating supply, which also acts as a buffer to maintain boilers in condensing mode and prevent wasteful cycling.
Full heating system design and technical support, including installation, is provided by the company where required.
This can include the supply of domestic and radiator manifolds if required, together with centralised controls (PC link etc), solar thermal collectors and water treatment for greater operating efficiency.
