Dean, who has spent the last year working for the Fairhursts Design Group in Manchester, will join Christopher Rodger's Architectural and Project Management division and has already begun work on a number of high profile projects including the design of a housing scheme as part of the redevelopment of Burscough FC.
A new Stadium and sports facilities will also form part of this exciting project.
Throughout his career he has played a leading role in the design and delivery of a wide variety of schemes, both commercial and residential, including one of the country's first City Learning Centres in Croxteth and lecture theatres for the University of Oxford's Department of Engineering.
Commenting on his new appointment, Dean says: "I'm excited to join a practice which excels in delivering viable commercial solutions in conjunction with excellent design.
With ambitious plans, the company is growing fast so it's a great time to come on board".
Seamus Smyth, director of the company's Architectural and Project Management division says: "The projects Dean has been involved with speak for themselves - he tells me he aims to design buildings that make people happy and they seem to be doing the trick so far.
