The software and hardware solution will be critical to the delivery of Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs), when they go live for the sale of all four-bedroom houses on August 1st 2007.
The system works via hand-held PDA units, which enable energy assessors to capture data and send full reports to the instructing companies on a live basis.
The solution's live-time capabilities will be critical in managing the high volume of energy inspections which the Christopher Rodgers team expects over the months to come.

Energy firms first local authority contract
UK wide energy assessors Christopher Rodgers has secured one of the first local authority energy assessment contracts in the UK, with West Lancashire District Council.
Christopher Rodgers, chief executive of Christopher Rodgers Home and Energy comments: "We've invested in this technology because high-volume-handling is a critical part of our business model.
We already have contracts signed for 300,000 instructions and our investment will enable us to handle 20 % more instructions per DEA than any other firm.
"Our number of confirmed instructions is rising every week and our recruitment drive has really gathered momentum.
Investing in the system was critical to our future growth and we've already carried out rigorous system tests to ensure that we are ready to hit the start button on the 1st August".
Trevor Hampton business development director of Northgate Information Solutions comments: "This alliance has given us an invaluable route into a new market and has created sizeable demand for our Mobile centric capability.
We've worked closely with Christopher Rodgers to develop a solution that is focused on efficiency and volume and which gives them the strategic advantage of high performance to their SLAs".
The Christopher Rodgers and Northgate solution is also being made available to other HIP providers, solicitors and estate agents across the UK thanks to a web-based portal which enables instructions to be made and tracked online.
The new system will allow Christopher Rodgers energy assessors to complete six to eight energy assessments each day.
The system is now fully installed, tested and operational at Christopher Rodgers Home and Energy Division headquarters in Skelmersdale.
Christopher Rodgers has been preparing for the introduction of HIPs and EPCs for the last eighteen months and is the preferred supplier to many of the country's largest organisations delivering HIPs.
Christopher Rodgers expects to increase its turnover to GBP25m during 2008 and currently has a 100 strong team of energy assessors.
