New 'Direct Flush' mains flushing urinal
valve
New mains flushing urinal valves from Cistermiser provide automatic flushing of individual urinal bowls, rather than employing a cistern which can waste water.
Cistermiser's new Direct Flush Accessible (DFA) and Direct Flush Discreet (DFD) mains flushing urinal valves Due to their water-saving characteristics, both products qualify for Enhanced Capital Allowances making their purchase and installation cost fully tax deductible in the year of purchase and significantly increasing the payback on the investment

Latest Cistermiser IRC has all options in one box
Latest Cistermiser IRC is the answer in all washroom environments where urinals linked to an auto flush cistern are installed.
These innovative new products replace the earlier EFDF model and use infrared sensor technology for absolute reliability in operation.
The products have a sensor located above the urinal bowl which detects the user after 10 seconds and flushes the bowl after use.
Both flush duration and sensor range are programmable, to enable building maintenance or service engineers to customise the products and minimise water consumption.

Cistermiser has launched a new range of WRAS approved, hands-free, water-saving washroom equipment
For washrooms with high footfall, the valve includes a "flush arrest" feature which stops the flush if another person uses the urinal while it is being flushed: the flush continues after that person has finished using the urinal.
A hygiene flush function, activated as standard, ensures that the trap is kept full during long periods of non-use, avoiding the build-up of calcium urate and the unpleasant odours which can be the result.
Both models are suitable for use with frame systems and vandal resistant as the valve is totally concealed and operation is interrupted should the sensor be subject to tampering.
These sophisticated valves offer a number of new features, including adjustable range and flush duration, optional de-activation of the 12 hour hygiene flush function and siphonic trap refill function, with changes easily made by hand and body interaction with the infrared sensor or via the Cistermiser Remote Control (ICU) handset.
Direct Flush Accessible features a smart, stainless steel, panel-mounted sensor plate that also serves as a cover to provide access to the valve and power supply located inside the mounting box.
A concealed, tamper-resistant allen key locks the sensor plate in place on the clamp frame which in turn is screw fixed to the panel.
The mounting box may be installed in a number of ways.
It can be screwed to the clamp frame and supported by the front panel or it can be mounted to a solid rear wall either attached or remote from the clamp frame.
This ability to separate the sensor plate and clamp frame from the mounting box, which is entirely hidden from view, allows a first fix/second fix option.
It also ensures that the face plate is always square to the user, even if the box is not, due to misalignment of the pipework.
This model is particularly useful where it is not possible to gain access to the wall cavity or where the panel is difficult to remove after installation.
Direct Flush Discreet has only a small circular sensor plate visible on the wall which is particularly unobtrusive and ideal for installations where aesthetics are key.
This model may be used where access to the wall cavity is available for servicing and inspection, as the valve is mounted onto the pipework behind the wall, panel or urinal frame, together with the mains power supply or batteries.
In new installations, Direct Flush Discreet's first fix (valve/power supply) and second fix (sensor) features are a particular advantage.
Packed with features and simple to install and commission, these valves improve washroom hygiene, save water and make a significant saving in lifetime costs.
Features unique to Cistermiser's Direct Flush products include an anti-splash function and the offering of both mains and battery powered options in the box as standard.
