CIRIA wins funding from Biffaward
CIRIA wins funding from Biffaward to provide guidance on improving the resource efficiency of the construction industry.
Led by CIRIA, in conjunction with Viridis, The National Waste Mass Reduction project aims to provide practical guidance for the construction industry on how it can reduce its demand for primary materials and improve its waste management This project will extend the facilities already provided by CIRIA's Internet Register of Recycling Sites (www.ciria.org/recycling) by providing guidance on good practice in design, construction and waste management illustrated through case studies together with guidance written specifically for the construction industry on working within the waste management licensing regime
