A Construction Industry Environmental Forum (CIEF) seminar Archaeology and construction: the benefits of effective planning and design will showcase good practice with respect to the preservation of our cultural heritage.

Speakers including David Miles of English Heritage and Peter Hinton of the Institute of Field Archaeologists will provide insight into how addressing archaeological concerns in a proactive manner can realise significant benefits to the client and project team over the longer term.

The event takes place on 16 March 2005 in London and will be of interest to developers, planners, contractors and designers.
