Researching roads efficiency and

CIRIA and a number of other supply chain partners have been awarded two framework contracts with the Highways Agency.
Consortium appointed to research roads efficiency and performance A consortium comprising Mott MacDonald, Scott Wilson, Owen Williams, CIRIA and a number of other supply chain partners have been awarded two framework contracts with the Highways Agency These will run until 2010, and provide underpinning support to the Highways Agency for both Research and Development (led by Scott Wilson) and related Technical Consultancy (led by Mott MacDonald)

The consortium partners, known as The Highways Research Group/Highways Consultancy Group (HRG/HCG), will actively contribute to the wider Community of RandD and Consultancy service providers to the Highways Agency.
HRG/HCG are committed to working closer and more effectively with the Highways Agency bringing greater efficiency, fresh ideas and knowledge-sharing, to ensure that the Community provides the major source of innovation in delivering better services more quickly for English motorways and trunk roads.
