CIRIA has released two free downloadable documents to help improve water efficiency and encourage the sustainable use of water within buildings.

Increasingly, there is a requirement to safeguard water supplies in the UK and implement sustainable water use CIRIA has released two free downloadable documents to provide building owners, facility managers, building engineers and designers with information to help them benchmark water efficiency in office and hotel environments and to help improve water efficiency and encourage the sustainable use of water within buildings

The two documents are simple guides to checking whether the water consumption is high or low compared to the average.

They also provide guidance about how to improve water consumption to reduce water and sewerage bills, and include signposts to more detailed advice.
