The seminar will present the Mission findings from a study of approaches to the reduction of fossil fuel energy use and associated emissions in Denmark, Sweden and Germany, with a view to informing and influencing future housing design and energy systems in the UK.
Technologies studied during the Mission include: ground source heat pumps; micro combined heat and power (micro-CHP) and associated distribution systems; mechanical ventilation and heat recovery and advanced insulation materials.
