CIEF to launch low-carbon-infrastructure inquiry
A launch event for ICE's State of the Nation Low Carbon Infrastructure inquiry is being held on 17 June 2009 from 2-5pm.
ICE's Low Carbon Infrastructure inquiry examines policy changes needed to deliver infrastructure to facilitate the transition to a low-carbon economy.
The inquiry will explore how civil engineering infrastructures can be designed, developed, maintained and operated to deliver significant reductions in carbon emissions against current levels.
This event is open to all interested parties in the construction and demolition industry.
Civil-infrastructure professionals, such as clients, designers, contractors and public-asset managers are also encouraged to attend.
