CIRIA addresses nuclear waste management changes
CIRIA's Safespur network has organised a technologies showcase to present techniques for decommissioning and remediation on nuclear sites.
The showcase will be hosted by NSG Environmental and will feature the latest developments from the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority's research and development activities on waste and decommissioning.
The event will see the presentation of the ice-pigging technique, which involves injecting ice slush into a rising main and then forcing it through a pipe with water.
The CIRIA organised event will be held on 18 November 2009 in Chorley.
