Clever sustainable fabric ducts for HVAC systems

A Clever Engineering product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Oct 1, 2009

Ductsox is offering a HVAC fabric duct constructed of recycled materials, available through its UK representative, Clever Engineering.

Ductsox now provides fabrics with recycled content for its Sedona-Xm and Coronado ranges, made with 55 per cent recycled content made up of 80 per cent post industrial and 20 per cent post consumer materials.

Using fabric ductwork as an alternative to metal ductwork for air dispersion provides sustainable benefits.

Ductsox are custom made to fit a project meaning that no excess fabric is used and enabling minimal waste.

Fabric ducting is replacing traditional metal across the HVAC industry due to the improved air dispersion that is offered, resulting in more effective air distribution and lower construction and operating costs.
