Petershill contract for Clark Contracts
£3.3 million construction contract has been awarded by the Petershill Community Initiative in Springburn, Glasgow to Clark Contracts.
The first quarter's figures were boosted by new contract wins for a range of clients including East Renfrewshire Council, Napier University, NHS Greater Glasgow, University of Glasgow and the EDI Group.
All five divisions of Clark Contracts, which cover construction, refurbishment, maintenance, insurance and painting and decorating exceeded their first quarter sales projections.
Gordon Cunningham, managing director, Clark Contracts, commented, "This has been a fantastic start to our new financial year and especially pleasing to see all five divisions contributing above and beyond expectations".
"We will look to build on this momentum throughout the rest of 2006 which is a big year for us, as we move into new purpose built headquarters near Glasgow Airport in the summer." Clark Contracts has achieved consistent, impressive growth doubling turnover in three years.
During that period, the company has launched a series of innovative initiatives as part of their Customers 1st campaign including the Zero Defects Team, set up after customer research suggested that minor issues raised after completion can incite major irritation amongst customers.
Clark Contracts teams sets out to eliminate all issues before completion.
Clark Contracts is a leader in construction, refurbishment and maintenance, operating across Scotland, Northern Ireland and the North of England, with particular strengths in retail, leisure, office, education and public sectors.
Founded in 1978, the company has grown to employ over 230 people offices in Paisley which covers the West and Broxburn which covers the East of the country.
