According to the company, the new division will focus on fit out projects of GBP500,000 and above to expand its market share in Scotland and the North of England.

Clark Contracts has a track record in transforming, building and creating new commercial fit outs for high profile customers such as the Weir Group Plc, University of Strathclyde, University of Glasgow and the Gala Coral Group.

Gordon Cunningham, MD at Clark Contracts, said: "The decision to create a new division dedicated to fit out work follows a period of sustained growth in new and repeat business for the team.

Under John's leadership they will now focus on growing this area further and developing a clear identity for the division.

"Initial feedback from customers suggests that the combination of a dedicated management team that works closely with a strong and committed supply chain, is an attractive proposition.

As a company we focus very much on service and this is why we see this as a key sector, where we can differentiate ourselves.".
