Clos-o-Mat installation increase in universities

A Clos-o-Mat product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Mar 26, 2009

Total Hygiene has reported an increase in sales of its Clos-o-Mat Palma bidet toilet to universities and colleges.

The Palma looks like a conventional WC, but has an integrated douche (wash) and drying facility.

Clos-o-Mat Palma bidet toilets are installed at, among others, halls at Reading, Cardiff and Bournemouth Universities, plus in campus buildings at Preston and Hull Colleges.

The Clos-O-Mat Palma Vita is WRAS approved, enabling it to be connected to the UK water supply.

It is the only bidet toilet on the market developed specifically for the disabled.

One press of the flush pad (by hand, elbow or body pressure) or the remote-control hand switch flushes the toilet and triggers the washing and drying process, without the handle having to remain depressed.

If necessary, an additional push at any time can repeat the drying cycle.

The functions can be stopped at any time simply by standing up.

Total Hygiene offers a range of options to enable tailoring of each unit to individual requirements.

Its technical engineers can assess premises to establish the most appropriate requirements, from support rails to height-adjustable wash basins, changing tables and bidet toilets.
