Clivet Aircon gains SAFE Contractor accreditation

Clivet Aircon has gained SAFE Contractor accreditation under the scheme operated by the National Britannia Group.

Clivet Aircon has become one of the latest companies to gain SAFE Contractor accreditation under the scheme operated by international safety, health and environmental risk management specialists the National Britannia Group.

Providing contract based preventative maintenance solutions for air-conditioning and associated building services technologies within the UK, Clivet Aircon Limited received accreditation in recognition of its compliance to health and safety practices.

The Company, which employs qualified technicians and engineers, supported by factory-based workshop test and repair services, believes that SAFE Contractor accreditation reinforces its commitment to quality assurance and customer care.

Clivet Aircon Limited additionally holds the quality management standard BS EN ISO 9001: 2000 and is also accredited within the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS).

"Our core business is the provision of service and maintenance for air-conditioning systems and total building services," says general manager Jayne Elliott.

"SAFE Contractor accreditation will enhance our ability to attract new contracts and this demonstration of our commitment to safety will also be viewed positively by our insurers when company liability issues are reviewed".
