Regupol studwork isolating strips

Hornport Construction has installed Regupol studwork strips beneath party walls at the Hard Days Night Hotel in Liverpool.

Regupol studwork strips will isolate internal wall constructions and prevent sound from travelling between suites at the Beatles-themed development.

Manufactured from recycled polyurethane (PUR) foam, Regupol studwork isolating strips are supplied at a standard thickness of 6mm, and widths to suit specific development requirements.

Sitting beneath all types of timber partitions, the studwork strips reduce structure borne noise by absorbing sound and breaking the connection between floor and wall constructions.

At the Hard Days Night Hotel, party walls separating the corridors and bedrooms were isolated.

Easily laid, the Regupol material is bonded straight to the subfloor, with the partition erected directly on top.

We initially looked at timber sole plates with pre-fitted isolating strips, but this was quite an expensive route.

We consulted CMS Acoustics who were able to provide a cost effective and high performing alternative with the Regupol isolating strip which was just as quick and easy to us'.

Resistant to ageing and deformation, Regupol studwork isolating strips offer long term performance and will not collapse under high point loads.
