Comar systems for church refurbishment

In order to maximise the levels of natural light in the building, the original atrium was pulled down and Comar 6 curtain walling was used for the entire envelope.

Glazed skin now covers all three walls and the sloped roof of the foyer.

Comar 6 stick-build system is ideal for a speedy on-site construction and high-spun corner mullions are adjustable from 90 degrees to 135 degrees which makes roof-glazing applications, such as sloped glazing, easily achievable.

Comar 7 butt hung doors were hung directly onto Comar 6 curtain walling.

Comar 7 integrates fully with Comar 6 curtain walling system and Comar's ground floor treatment.

The church building was located on the premier thoroughfare, enclosed by the adjacent buildings, which made the job more challenging.

After the original contractor pulled out, Oxted Windows, Comar approved fabricator, stepped in and executed the project on time.
