The external walls of the garage were envisaged to incorporate large glass panes, some of which exceeded 3 metres in height.
Because the garage sits in a flat countryside subjected to the rigours of the weather, it was of the essence to provide an accurate wind-loading calculation.

Comar 7 manual butt-hung swing doors were hung directly onto Comar 6 curtain walling, creating an attractive entrance.
Since all Comar systems are completely integrated, the same slim 50mm sight-lines are maintained throughout the facade.
The aluminium windows were powder coated in white, blending with the silver-grey cladding in the facade's top elevation.
The blue of the vertical columns along the facade added to the colour scheme which underpinned the brand identity of Mercedes-Benz.
