Thermal Imaging Refractory Lining Survey
Cockburn Thermal Imaging were involved in a recent Thermographic survey to establish if there was a costly breakdown in the Refractory wall of a local gas plant.
Cockburn Thermal Imaging were asked to survey the refractory, in conjunction with the original manufacture, to assess whether or not any repair work was needed in their next shutdown The Thermal Imaging Technology was used to quickly identify areas of concern while the furnace was still in operation, with images being taken from up to 50 meters away
