Cooper Lighting and Security has introduced an improved version of its JSB Royalux edge-lit exit sign, which has become a popular choice for prestigious locations such as hotels, reception areas, boardrooms and theatres.

Designed to meet the requirements of the latest EN 1838 emergency-lighting standard, New Royalux features a patented uniform-luminance legend panel with a viewing distance of up to 32m.

The luminaire retains the elegance of its familiar bevelled design, and this is now complemented by the stylish curved lines of the new screen-printed acrylic legend panel.

Available in a high-lustre brass or chrome-plated finish, New Royalux is supplied with suspension chains and tubes as standard, providing the user with a choice of fittings to suit individual applications.

The exit sign utilises an 8W T5 fluorescent lamp and is available in maintained, non-maintained and central-system slave versions.

In addition, it can be specified with EasiCheck or Intellem self-test functionality for applications where ease of testing is paramount.
