Cooper Lighting and Security has launched a new fire handbook that is sure to be a valuable source of information for anyone involved in designing, specifying or installing fire detection systems.

Entitled 'Fire Solutions', the 160-page A4 full-colour handbook includes a useful fire system design guide, which details the requirements of the latest legislation and standards, as well as providing guidance on system design and product selection.

In addition, the handbook features all the fire systems and components supplied by the company under its Menvier and JSB brands, divided into four sections covering analogue control panels, analogue interfaces, conventional fire panels, and fire system components such as detectors, callpoints, sounders and beacons.

Each section has its own contents page with thumbnail photographs to facilitate product selection, and each product entry consists of a photograph, a brief description, a list of key features, detailed technical specifications, installation notes, dimensioned line diagrams and ordering information.
