Cooper Lighting offers choices for Bollard range

A Cooper Lighting product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Jan 27, 2010

The Core Bollard range of luminaires from Cooper Lighting offers an extensive choice of models and lamp options.

The range includes a highly efficient energy saving CFL model in addition to the high-output 70W SON and MBIT discharge-lamp types.

The CFL model is also available in a 3 hour maintained emergency version.

The Core Bollard provides a robust solution for a wide variety of outdoor applications; bolted directly to hard surfaces, mounted in wet poured concrete using the root mounting kit, or in soft ground using the root-mount post extension for added stability.

The main housing is manufactured from die-cast and extruded aluminium with a black powder-coated finish.

A strong UV stabilised polycarbonate lens is used to protect the optical section.

The luminaire can be specified with louvred, reflector or Fresnel optics, and is available in a choice of dome or flat-top versions.

The Core Bollard is externally rated to IP65 and is suitable for use in most environments.

On the CFL and emergency versions, the integrity of the high-frequency control gear is further ensured by housing it in an internally mounted IP44-rated chamber.
