Metal cladding provides a maintenance free material with a selection of colours and profiles.
The pre-finished steel products were specified by architects, DLA Architecture, for their colour dimension, their ability to protect and enhance the metal cladding and the length of guarantee.
The same colour scheme using these materials has also been included at the new Soccer Dome at Tyneside and at a third in Rotherham, where the design stipulates the use of Colorcoat Celestia shades to match surrounding buildings.
In this case the products were specified by architects DLA and were profiled by Kingspan Insulated Panels.
The metallic appearance of the Colorcoat Celestia adds a visual depth to the structure.
Contrasting the Goosewing Grey of the Colorcoat HPS200, Colorcoat Celestia offers a stylish and contemporary alternative to conventional colour schemes.
According to the architects the metallic appearance was unusual and striking: "We wanted to enhance the appearance of the walls and chose Colorcoat Celestia to reflect the quality of the soccer dome concept," they explained.
"Also, the unique Confidex guarantee is longer and more comprehensive that performance statements offered on comparable Colorcoat PVDF finishes and this was an important issue for the client".
"Effectively, it offers them peace of mind should any problems arise with the coating, which will be addressed immediately directly by Corus." JJB Soccer Domes are purpose built soccer facilities catering for people of all playing abilities.
They are dedicated to providing top quality five-a-side soccer played on synthetic sports surfaces, with three venues already established at Wigan, Manchester and Derby. Request a free brochure from Corus Colors ...
