Corus Colors, manufacturers of pre-finished steel for the building envelope have launched the next generation of product which is used as part of roof and walling cladding systems.
TTH Architects were commissioned to create a state of the art, contemporary stadium ready for the 2005-2006 sporting season.
Corus Panels and Profiles supplied the panels for the roof with Euroclad supplying the wall panels in for three of the elevations to the main stadium, including the corporate hospitality suite, using Colorcoat HPS200 in Goosewing Grey and Hamlet.
Roofing contractors, Allmass Cladding Systems were responsible for the installation of the cladding to the roof and, according to Ray Massey of Allmass, Colorcoat HPS200 was the obvious choice.
"We liaised closely with all involved including Corus Colors and Corus Panels and Profiles, to ensure the best cladding solution for such a prestigious building," he commented.
The Trisomet panels are redesigned and improved profiled polyisocyanurate composites, equally suited for roof or wall assembly.
The panels comprised double sided Colorcoat HPS200 and were used for all areas exposed to the elements.
The inclusion of the market leading Corus Confidex Guarantee with Colorcoat HPS200 was also a major asset for the building owners, providing peace of mind for up to 25 years.
As well as hosting the rugby and football fixtures throughout the season, the building has been designed with top class facilities, including hospitality boxes, a banqueting suite as well as the capacity to accommodate commercial exhibitions and wedding receptions.
