New Cab Initiative Helping Members
A newly formed Marketing Committee is helping the Council for Aluminium in Building (CAB) focus on and promote some of the important issues facing the aluminium building sector.
The aim of the Committee is to raise awareness amongst members and non-members alike of the issues that can directly affect their business, such as the impact of further changes to Part L of the Building Regulations, announced on 24th February, and the new commercial installer training requirements due to come into force at the end of the year As well as promoting the overall benefits of CAB membership, the Committee's remit includes promotion of the CAB's involvement in the 'Aluminium Imagination Awards'; information and advice on training available for companies, or individuals, involved in the aluminium building industry and to encourage participation at the regional meetings that are held throughout the year
