The Cylinder Tray Company has appointed heatandplumb.com as a distributor to cope with product demand, especially from the replacement cylinder tank market place.
"Heat and Plumb have very cleverly integrated our product into their online catalogue it is featured on every hot water cylinder page", we like they way they have taken to and presented the product stated Andrew Thomas [Marketing Manager].
Nigel Cloves, the inventor of the CylinderTray is hoping the house construction industry will start to fit the tray as standard under all hot water cylinders finally eliminating the large amount of water damage from leaking or bursting Hot Water Cylinder tanks in homes across the UK.
Nigel further commented that "Sales have increased considerably since we launched the web site, with a growing interest from the US market place.
Andrew Thomas also commented that the main sales had been from "the replacement cylinder tank market place" to date, but that they [Cylinder Tray Company] want to focus on the new house build market and hence avoid the initial damage from the originally installed hot water cylinders* and save the house owners and insurance industry considerable money.
We are in discussions with leading house builders at the moment but wish to hear from independent builders as well.
*500,000 hot water cylinders are installed per year in the UK.
