MP congratulates Carillion
Support services and construction company Carillion has been congratulated in the House of Commons after building a state of the art stadium in Doncaster on time and under budget.
It is the third contract that Carillion has won at the Water Treatment plant near Colchester.
The works will cover the procurement, construction, installation and commissioning of upgrade facilities including a new high lift pumping station, site High Voltage and Low Voltage electrical upgrade, new standby generation facilities, filter control and monitoring facilities, together with major connecting pipe-work and other ancillary infrastructure works.
Work is due to start mid March and is expected to finish in August.
Andrew Trewick, Director of Carillion Water, said: "Carillion is delighted by this latest contract win in a sector which we have proven capability established over many years.
"We aim to build strong, long-lasting relationships with all of our clients by listening to their needs and providing cost effective, innovative solutions no matter what the project.".
