Cameras, DVRs and intelligent software at IFSEC
Dallmeier electronic, German-based developer and manufacturer of high quality digital video security systems, show its integrated solutions at IFSEC 2007
Developed as part of Dallmeier's outstanding DMS 'Leonardo' range of digital video recorders, the DMS 240 IPS combines high quality recording with exceptional compression rates.
The unit offers a Bit rate up to 4 Mbps, a frame rate up to 25 fps per channel with CIF (600 fps altogether) and image resolution up to 4CIF.
Simultaneous real-time recording and playback for all channels is standard, as is Dallmeier's Easy-Change HDD functionality in the unlikely event of hard disk failure.
The minimum standard HDD capacity is 500 GB.
Management of the DMS 240 IPS is via either Dallmeier's SeMSy or PView management software system.
SmartFinder motion detector software is also included.
Also on display at IFSEC 2008 is Dallmeier's range of streamers - the MicroStreamer, DIS-2/M StreamerPro, DIS-2/M StreamerPro UTP and the DIS-2/M StreamerPro HDD range (Small, Large and Large UTP).
The DIS-2/M StreamerPro HDD Small is designed for mobile or temporary use.
These streamers are stand-alone audio and video encoders that facilitate the integration of analogue cameras in a network.
At the same time as recording (when used with HDDs), the audio and video data can be transmitted in real-time as a stream via a network (RTP protocol).
The streamers can receive analogue video and audio signals via different inputs and after encoding the data (MEPG -2/-4 or MJPEG) transmit the data via a network in real time to one or more IP addresses simultaneously.
The data is received by either a Dallmeier DVR or Dallmeier video management system (PView or SeMSy).
Configuration is remote using a web browser.
