Poole Plumps For Parkalux
Poole Borough Council has used Designplan's ultra-durable T5 Parkalux fittings among a package of measures designed to dramatically improve the ambience of its Civic Centre car park.
Ideal for sports halls, the Six Pack can be ceiling mounted or chain suspended.
A hood option is also recommended for suspended applications to prevent shuttlecocks from landing on top of the fitting.
For optimum safety a polycarbonate sheet prevents glass falling through the louvre in the unlikely event of lamp breakage.
The new ultra-tough Sportalux is IK10++ rated for impact resistance and boasts an IP55 rating, making it ideal for use in a range of sports applications including humid areas such as changing rooms, shower rooms and swimming pools.
This slimline fitting, available in either T8 or even slimmer T5 versions, has a very strong clear polycarbonate diffuser and a high quality aluminium reflector to maximise light output.
The diffuser is patterned on the inside for ease of cleaning.
Sportalux comes in surface, recess and angle mount versions.
