New Sporting Double From Designplan Lighting
Designplan Lighting has launched two new fittings specifically designed to meet the uniquely rigorous demands of sports facilities - the Six Pack and Sportalux.
The FSRDL2 model is a fully recessed version of the fitting, while the FSRDL3 is surface mounted for applications where it is not possible to recess mount.
A specialised version of the FSRDL is also available that is designed for below ground applications and which meets London Underground's Section 12 design safety requirements.
Where a sealed product above the ceiling is not required Designplan's new SP1 and SP2 downlights offer excellent lighting efficiency and good weather resistance, while being robust enough to withstand low level vandalism.
The SP1 has a die cast aluminium trim ring; the SP2 can be specified in either stainless steel or brushed bronze.
A 10mm thick tempered glass lens secured against an EPDM "O" gasket gives both fittings a high performance IP55 rating from below.
