Dewalt launched powerful industrial screwdriver.
Dewalt have just launched the DC600 extremely compact, yet very powerful industrial screwdriver.
The most notable difference though is the sheer power of this new motor, capable of ripping 3" hardwood with ease.
The other great benefit of this new motor is that due to its electronic control module it automatically changes speed between the mitre and rip modes, optimising blade speed for each application.
Still providing users with the convenience of both a bench saw and a mitre saw this new design also features a larger 12" blade that provides increased capacities in both modes.
In mitre mode this new saw will now cut 4" depth and 8" crosscut and in ripping mode the saw will now cut over 3".
The capacities in both bevel and mitre modes have also increased to 48 degrees to give the user that extra bit of adjustment.
Ease of use has also been greatly improved with this new machine with an easy to adjust and lock mitre and bevel functions with clear adjustable scales.
The old depth of cut adjustment in rip mode has also been changed to an easily accessible front winding handle.
To aid transportation the new flip over saw has adjustable legs for uneven surfaces that can be quickly and easily retracted in to the frame.
These legs can also be positioned outwards, which when combined with the on-board wheel set, means that the machine can be easily wheeled around site like a wheel barrow.
The new Dewalt Flip over saw will be available with the BLAC motor in 240v only from September 2004 from your local Dewalt stockist.
The 110v will be available early in 2005 with a series motor.
