New range of diamond drills offers outstanding performance and durability whilst the stands and attachments are designed to offer a complete solution for every wet and dry drilling application.

DeWALT announced the launch of its complete diamond system The new range of diamond drills offers outstanding performance and durability whilst the stands and attachments are designed to offer a complete solution for every wet and dry drilling application

The range is suitable for a wide range of end users including electricians, plumbers, HVAC companies and construction companies.

Available in January 2007, the diamond line will be extensive and feature drills and accessories suitable for drilling 22 - 300mm diameter holes in soft and hard materials.

The range of drills will include the 1705 W - 2 Speed Dry Diamond Drill (D21580K), the 1705 W - 2 Speed Wet and Dry Diamond Drill (D21582K), the 1910 W - Heavy Duty 3 Speed Wet and Dry Diamond Drill (D21583K) and the 2500 W - Heavy Duty 3 Speed Wet Diamond Drilling Motor (D21585).

DeWALT has built each drill with Durability, Perfomance, Ease of Use and Comfort in mind which ensures that each drill is capable of withstanding the most demanding applications For the more heavy-duty applications when it is required to drill larger holes, DeWALT also recommends using a stand which can enhance comfort and safety.

Using a stand means the tool is no longer hand held and therefore is safer due to the huge reduction in HAV.

There are 3 stands in the range to suit each of the featured drills.

The small drilling Stand ((D215821) being the basic stand, there is then a fully featured Medium Drilling Stand with integrated vacuum base (D215831) and finally a stand specifically for the Drilling Motor (D215851).

Each stand can be fastened to the wall or ceiling in one of 3 ways.

The first method being by a mechanical fastening of which DeWALT offers the complete fixing set for both concrete and masonry.

The easier option is using a Bracing Bracket (D215835) or equally a vacuum pump (D215837) this being by far the quickest attachment for setting the larger stands in position.

Whether completing a dry or wet drilling application, DeWALT offers a complete range of attachments.

Dust elimination is key, particularly when dry drilling, and helps ensure a safer working environment.

Therefore DeWALT has launched the Dust Extraction Adapter (D215804) which should be used in conjunction with the Wet and Dry extractor (D27902).

The D27902 can be used for both wet and dry drilling and features an innovative automatic filter cleaning system which delivers constant suction power, avoiding problems such as filter clogging.

Wet drilling significantly increases working efficiency by increasing the drilling speed and also eliminates dust making for a safer working environment.

To provide water when mains supply is not available DeWALT launches the 10L Water Pressure Pump (D215824).

Used in conjunction with the extractor, DeWALT also supplies 3 water collection rings which collect any waste ensuring the working area is kept free of excess water.

A different size is available for each stand.

To compliment the diamond system, DeWALT offers a complete range of cores and accessories.

DeWALT cores are available in sizes from 22mm to 300mmm and there is a range for all wet and dry drilling applications.

With an optimised diamond segment design, they offer high speed drilling and long life in a wide range of building materials.
