New look and new senior team for DGT
Following its recent change of owner, DGT Steel and Cladding has unveiled its new logo and has made a number of senior appointments to its management team.
Managing director Barry Heyne says: "The new logo is a much more modern design and reflects our forward-thinking approach to our design capabilities as well the structures we're able to fabricate and install We are proud that DGT is capable of delivering 'Design Guided Transformation' across a huge range of engineering projects

Colin Richardson has become full-time group finance director, making permanent a part-time relationship that he has had with DGT for the past 17 years, while Steve Smith, who has joined DGT as company secretary brings with him 30 years of corporate finance experience.
Andy Spooner will now manage DGT's envelope construction process, and brings to the role a great deal of experience within the construction industry, particularly within the areas of roofing, cladding, glazing and curtain walling systems.
Chartered structural engineer Matthew Byatt C Eng MIStructE has almost 20 years of design experience of all major types of building construction.
Originally from a consultancy background, he heads up the Technical Design Department, which provides DGT with the in-house ability to prepare innovative technical solutions for its clients to all types of building structures and systems.
Paul Colman has returned to DGT's Commercial Department bringing with him his expertise in cladding, facades, curtain walling and total envelope solutions.
Phil Petravich has joined the company as supply chain manager in DGT's group purchasing team.
He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Purchase and Supply and has been involved with construction, automotive, oil and gas, pharmaceutical and heavy engineering industries, including 18 months in Austria with the world's largest automotive design consultancy.
Previous owners Van Thurston and Garry Pye will continue in their key roles of contracts director and logistics director respectively, maintaining the experience and expertise that has been so integral to the previous and sustained growth of the company.
