Luxury Hoteliers Paramount Group and their architects were poised with providing disability access at their newly expanded Chesford Grange Hotel located in Kenilworth They needed a fast, quality, reliable and cost effective solution, to enable them to be DDA compliant and make Disabled Access provision to conference facilities on three levels

They were on a very tight time schedule and needed to provide the disability access solution within the refurbishment program window.

Why The Disability Access Company? - They choose The Disability access Company because we are a UK based manufacturing company who could produce the lift on time, within budget and to a very high specification in keeping with the aesthetics of the Hotel.

The Spec - The Disability Access Company were given the brief to design a bespoke, fully glazed, freestanding lift that needed to serve 3 levels travel 3600mm positioned in between a spiralling staircase all delivered, installed and commissioned in seven weeks.

The lift needed to meet all the relevant Standards and Directives to ensure that the Hotel met the DDA requirements.

The Access 9000 Vertical platform lift was chosen.

The Solution - The Disability Access Company had manufactured similar bespoke lifts in the past so were able to produce a unit to the client's requirements.

The lift was positioned in between the existing spiralling staircase with no structural opening or support required.

This meant that no builders' work was needed to accommodate the lift thus minimizing cost and reducing the site time required.

The Schedule - The Disability Access Company completed the installation within the window of opportunity giving the client a valuable few extra days to be able to prepare themselves for their first conference with Disabled delegates.

After Sales - The Disability Access Company provide the first twelve months full parts and labour warranty in with the price of the lift (including two service visits) and are able to offer a complete range of service options including a 24/7 365 day call out if necessary.

This ensures customers have many years of complete satisfaction, safe in the knowledge that they have chosen the right product, for the right purpose, at the right price!.
