Install Automation offers real-time energy control

An Install Automation product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Oct 19, 2009

Install Automation is exhibiting the real-time energy management and control system at Interbuild.

The system has been designed in response to a study from the Energy Saving Trust that found households would like to see the money they are spending and how much CO2 is being produced on real-time monitors.

The clear Open AV display shows how much energy a property is consuming and controls energy sources accordingly.

The installation of this system can save the user 40 per cent in energy bills.

Adam Kent, managing director of Install Automation said: "Our customers who have had the energy management system installed reported savings of GBP150".

Visitors at Interbuild can visit the Install Automation stand to experience the energy management system.

Install Automation's home automation systems, including lighting, security monitoring and entertainment such as Apple TV and Sonos, will also be displayed at the stall.

Install Automation will also be demonstrating the iPhone application and interface, designed to control all aspects of the home automation system, which means an end to remote and wall panel controls.

The company is also displaying audio video and high definition distribution.

Stand D49, Hall 5, Grand Designs Live 2009.

18-21 October, NEC Birmingham.
