DM Hall Appointed Letting Agent for GBP3 Million James McCafferty House DM Hall, Chartered Surveyors, has been appointed as letting agent for the GBP3 million McCafferty House office development in the north of Glasgow recently opened by Maryhill MSP Patricia Ferguson as part of Queens Cross Workspace's 21st birthday celebrations The four-storey office building in Firhill Road, named after the late James McCafferty - a respected member of the local community and a long-standing member of both Queens Cross Housing Association and Queens Cross Workspace - comprises modern high specification open plan office suites

As well as providing state-of-the-art facilities for business in the north of the city, it is also hoped the office complex will attract further investment into the area and create new job opportunities for the local community.

Graeme Todd, Commercial Property Partner in DM Hall's Glasgow office, said: "McCafferty House provides high quality office accommodation at very competitive occupational costs compared with other business park or out of town locations".

"The development benefits from excellent communication links, being close to the M8 and Glasgow City Centre whilst a generous car parking provision is also offered".

Maryhill MSP Patricia Ferguson said: "Queens Cross Workspace is a key service provider within the community and I am delighted to have opened this new addition to its portfolio".

"This marks a significant increase in the high quality affordable accommodation it can offer businesses and organisations which I hope will lead to new employment opportunities for local people".

Director of Business Development at Queens Cross Workspace, John Duncan, said: "This project represents a significant diversification for Queens Cross Workspace in terms of the increase in size of facility available to let".

"By providing larger spaces, Queens Cross Workspace aims to increase the attractiveness of the Queens Cross area as an employment base for larger organisations, thereby increasing local employment opportunities".

Features of McCafferty House include a secure door entry system, full Disability Discrimination Act compliance, gas central heating, a 10-person passenger lift, raised access flooring, fully fitted kitchen areas and barrier controlled parking.
