DM Hall, one of Scotland's leading firms of chartered surveyors, has received a ringing endorsement from its clients in a survey which reveals gratifyingly high levels of satisfaction with the company's professionalism and dedication to clients'interests The comprehensive survey of private clients, which was carried out in October 2006, gained responses from 55 clients, most of whom had received reports from D M Hall in connection with mortgage/lending, value for buying, rental valuation and remortgages

A remarkable 100% of respondents said that the reports they received were clear and easily understood, fully justifying the effort and investment that D M Hall has put into making often arcane subjects easily comprehensible across a wide range of subject disciplines.
In another result which illustrates D M Hall's pre-eminent position in the sector, 93% of clients revealed that they did not even consider contacting other firms of chartered surveyors for quotes before contacting D M Hall.
Approachability and personal contact rated highly, with 87% reporting that they felt confident to instruct their surveyor at the company over the telephone and 94% saying that their decision to use D M Hall was influenced by previous experience, solicitor/IFA/broker advice, a friend's recommendation or a personal contact within the company.
The personal touch was also illustrated with the response that 98% found the personnel in D M Hall helpful, 93% felt D M Hall listened to their requirements and understood them and 93% subsequently felt that their instruction was dealt with effectively.
On a scale of one to five, five being highest, 43 clients rated the firm five for professionalism - a result enhanced by the fact that 96% of respondents reported that the work on their brief was carried out within the timescale they were expecting.
Finally, 98% said they were enthusiastic or comfortable about recommending D M Hall to others.
Keith Jones, senior partner at D M Hall, said: "This survey has been extremely valuable to us in confirming that we are moving in the right direction with our offering to our clients".
