Dimplex radio frequency control goes 24/7
Dimplex radio frequency control solution now offers an even greater level of control over electric heating appliances, as it is available with an LCD programmer unit to give 24/7 programming.
"The recent government decision to ban smoking in enclosed spaces from 2007 also creates a need for localised heating to keep smokers out of the cold and with many commercial premises well on the way to banning smoking altogether, the need to convert or upgrade outdoor areas with new heating and lighting has never been greater," he adds.
The robust CXD ceramic radiant heaters are perfect for these situations, being safe when installed indoors or out.
With a choice of 2kW models available, they provide unobtrusive heating over a very specific area, due to long wave infrared radiation that imitates the heating effect of the sun.
These ceramic models work silently, with no distracting light output, which is particularly good where users may be stationary for extended periods.
To keep energy costs down the 'throw' and 'spread' of heat can be manipulated with the adjustable mounting bracket, which gives precise adjustment in both horizontal and vertical planes.
The heaters come with guards as standard for that extra peace of mind.
The recommended mounting height of 2m provides a heated area of 2m x 1.4m when angled at 45 degrees and the heaters can be installed in conjunction with zone and time controls as required.
The heaters weigh just over 5kg and are tested for safe outdoor use, and have an IPX4-rated, high temperature, matt black body for safety, making them ideal for many commercial installations. Request a free brochure from Dimplex UK ...
