Dimplex radio frequency control goes 24/7
Dimplex radio frequency control solution now offers an even greater level of control over electric heating appliances, as it is available with an LCD programmer unit to give 24/7 programming.
People within the beam's range feel the warmth instantly, literally within seconds, in the same way as they do with the sun's rays, as natural sunlight is rich in short wavelength heat.
Because the OPH warms the people and objects within the 'throw' of the unit, not the air in between, no heat is lost to the environment.
This keeps running costs down, as low as 10p an hour, a far cry from running a gas heater that requires constant supplies of gas, bottled and distributed with all the carbon intensive activities that are involved.
This is before you consider the extra convenience of a heater that is always ready to go.
For further economy, the OPH patio heater can be linked to Dimplex's range of timers and PIR detector switches, which automatically switch the unit/s on or off depending on whether the area below the heater is occupied.
If the space does empty for any reason, the unit is simply switched off until it's required again, with a warm glow indicating when the OPH is in use.
The OPH is available as a twin element 1.3kW quartz infra-red model for smaller patios, or as a 2kW halogen version with single Philips element for larger spaces.
The heaters can be either permanently wall-mounted or optional fixing kits for parasol or hung mounting arrangements are available.
The rugged aluminium design complements both domestic and commercial settings and both models are IPX4 water ingress rated for safety in all environments. Request a free brochure from Dimplex UK ...
