Dimplex offers low carbon space and water heating

Dimplex offers space and water heating products for domestic and commercial applications.

Domestic products include installed radiators with integrated whole house control systems, towel rails, water heating, heat pumps and solar hot water heating.

Commercial and industrial products include high output heat pumps, indoor and outdoor radiant heaters, and an extensive range of air curtains.

Air curtains can be linked together to provide flexible environmental control as part of a building management system.

Dimplex space and water heating systems use freely available heat sourced from the ground or air.

Heat pumps provide up to 4kW of useful heat for every 1kW used, and can produce 50 per cent less carbon emissions than a gas heating system.

Dimplex is now launching a range of solar kits.

The Dimplex Duoheat radiator has been recognised by SAP as improving energy efficiency levels.

Duoheat has a high level of controllability which can help Part L and Code for Sustainable Homes compliance.

This is particularly helped when used with solar thermal hot water and as part of a heating system alongside Dimplex panel heaters and linked to a central control.

Air curtains can offer climate, energy and cost savings.

Dimplex is currently working to make the energy efficiency offered by its air curtains official with a study on running cost savings conducted in conjunction with the Carbon Trust.

An initial study shows that using air curtains can save up to 33 per cent of HVAC running costs.

Dimplex currently offers a range of surface and recessed air curtains suitable for doorways between 3-6m high.

Dimplex also offers an extensive range of heat pumps for commercial installations.

Ground source models with outputs up to 130kW are suited for non-domestic applications.

High temperature ground and air source units give water heating temperatures up to 70C.

Enhanced controller software is available across the range.

Dimplex offers a choice of quartz radiant heaters for further industrial or outdoor applications.
