Donaldson Timber Engineering First Irish
Facility
Donaldson Timber Engineering, a UK leader in engineered timber roof and floor manufacture, has opened its first facility in Ireland.
Strategically based in Mountmellick, Co Laois, the 20,000 sq ft facility has capacity to produce up to 3000 roof trusses per week
The company will also introduce Finnjoist I Joist engineered flooring systems to the Irish market.
DTE Ireland's General Manager Mr Brendan Flanagan says : 'Our intention is to become one of Ireland's key suppliers of engineered timber roof trusses and floor products.
We look forward to bringing to our customers unrivalled service and product quality.
We are fully accredited to ISO9001 and source our timber supplies from well managed forests, via our partner Crown Timber's terminal at Wicklow.' The eighth facility in the DTE group, which distributes over 20,000 trusses weekly throughout the UK and overseas, DTE Ireland will draw on the group's 30 years of expertise in supplying the housebuilding market.
