Dobson White Boulcott Limited announce that the team are now on-site working on the development and consolidation of Middlesex University Hendon Campus DWB is acting as Project Manager on this GBP40million project, which has been designed by BPR Architects Limited and is scheduled for completion in September 2006

Following the closure of other campuses, the client, Middlesex University, identified the Hendon Campus in north west London as one which could be developed and consolidated to accommodate the relocated staff and students, but which would require significant development and re-organisation of teaching and working arrangements.

The programme involved two major construction projects: a new Learning Resource Centre and the Quadrangle.

The latter is a scheme to provide a new 1,300m2 atrium and the comprehensive refurbishment of the main teaching building.

Several other relatively minor projects were also undertaken including demolition, relocations and the provision of temporary accommodation to facilitate the major projects.

Implemented under a traditional form of contract, works are well advanced, the two major projects have been completed and the remainder are due to complete in September 2006.

Other works are imminent and include the general landscaping of the campus, part refurbishment of a staff building and major refurbishment and improvement to the lecture halls to provide state-of-the-art facilities.
