Douglas Delabie time flow 'Soft Touch' Taps/Mixers achieve water and energy savings and address concerns about possible cross contamination of MRSA and other infections.
For the very young or old, the hand pressure required to operate a time flow tap can present difficulties.
Temposoft is the new range of easy to operate 'soft touch' timed flow push basin taps and mixers from Douglas Delabie, the specialist supplier of thermostatic control solutions and accessories for the commercial market.
Temposoft and Temposoft AB basin taps Featuring a 'twice as soft' push action compared with other time flow taps, Temposoft self closes after a nominal run time of 15 seconds, to prevent cross contamination of bacteria.
With regulated flow rate at 4 litres/min, water savings of approx 70% can be achieved compared with a traditional basin tap.
Other features include scale proof aerato, and reinforced fixing to prevent tap swivel.
In the Temposoft AB, water flow only commences once the 'soft touch' button has been released, preventing deliberate flooding of the washroom area.
Temposoft basin mixer With similar features and water saving benefits, the Temposoft Basin Mixer also features a side manual temperature selector and regulated flow rate at 6 litres/min, stainless steel flexible connectors with filters and non return check valves and stop cocks, and reinforced fixing.
Temposoft also offers improved hygiene, as the tap self closes after hand washing reducing the risk of cross contamination.
For total safety, Temposoft should always be used with a thermostatic mixing valve to ensure safe water temperatures at the basin outlet.
Part of the Total Control range, Temposoft products are designed for the commercial environment, precision-engineered in a smart chrome-plated heavy brass design and endurance tested in excess of 500,000 cycles.
Temposoft is simple to use, effective in water conservation and ideal for use in schools, pre-school playgroups, care homes, offices, hotels, leisure/sports centres, and other public buildings.
