Door-Stop U-value certificates validated by BRE.

A Door-Stop International product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Aug 24, 2010

Door-Stop International offers an individual U-value certificate for each composite door it produces, using a calculation method validated by the Building Research Establishment (BRE).

All Door-Stop doors ordered online have a U-value of 1.8 W/m2K or less with some as low as 1 W/m2K.

This means that the doors comply with the latest building regulations which come into force on 1 October.

Nick Dutton, managing director for Door-Stop, commented: "We've read reports that many in the industry are unprepared for the new legislation, but Door-Stop has worked closely over recent months with Chiltern Dynamics and the BRE to demonstrate compliance of our doors in good time".
