sliding door
Dorma Beyond glass door system combines design styling with maximum safety and stability, making it ideal for nurseries, schools, leisure centres and shops, or even within the home.
There is no risk of pinched fingers with the Dorma Beyond swing door option, as its clever design places the pivot point directly at the glass edge, preventing the risk of trapped fingers which can occur at the secondary closing edges of glass swing doors The Dorma Beyond glass door system combines sophisticated architectural design styling with maximum safety and stability, making it ideal for nurseries, schools, leisure centres and shops, or even within the home

DORMA At Duke Of York's Headquarters Refurbishment

In fact anywhere there is high pedestrian traffic and the risk of young fingers being caught.
Dorma Beyond can be used for either single or double leaf doors - with a single or double action - and can be combined most effectively with DORMA floor springs.
The two options have been developed for glass thicknesses of 8 to 10mm and up to 80 kg in weight.
Dorma Beyond can be abutted to existing masonry or integrated with all-glass partitions.
It comes with two alternative fitting designs, a continuous pivot rod or a short rod option, and a wide selection of pull handles, lock and lever handle combinations.
The sliding door design has a round profile fitting, optimised door movement, and is almost silent in operation.
The articulated mounting of the roller carrier guarantees equal loading of the two parallel-running rollers, which ensures that from a safety point of view the centre of gravity of the doors is always completely in balance.
