Dove Architectural Hardware Limited will be exhibiting at the High Peak Boost Your Business "Meet The Buyer" event to be held in Buxton this March.

Boost Your Business is a joint initiative that is being developed by High Peak Borough Council, High Peak Community Housing, The University of Derby and Derbyshire County Council.

Through this initiative partners across the High Peak have committed to ensuring that their significant purchasing power brings maximum benefit to the local economy.

To ensure that spend is recycled in the local economy, partners are keen not only to increase the number and value of contracts let to local businesses, but also to increase the number of training opportunities created locally in the construction and facilities management industries.

To help achieve these aims a "meet the buyer" event has been organised on Wednesday 21st Match 2007 between 9am and 5pm specifically in relation to procurement of Construction and Facilities Management services.

This event will be hosted at the Pavilion Gardens, Buxton.

The event will highlight potential forthcoming construction and facilities management contracts over the next three years within the public and private sectors that local businesses could potentially tender for.

The event will consist of a "market place" of exhibitors including business support services, training providers and major suppliers.

"Speakers" will provide businesses with advice and help with public procurement on issues such as Health and Safety and Environmental Compliance.

Admission to the event is free of charge.
