The research results not only concluded that Drakes' customer service on the trade counter was rated good or excellent by 98.8% of customers but that it had a loyal customer base with over 94% of respondents having traded with them for over a year and 28% for over 20 years! Drakes' product range was also scored highly by 88% of the trades people interviewed.
Confidential telephone and face-to-face surveys were conducted across the seven Drakes branches by independent market research specialists, Springboard Marketing , of Tonbridge, Kent.
Mike Remon, Drakes' Business Development Manager said: "Customer service is a top priority for Drakes and this research has provided us with a useful snapshot of what our customers really think of us.
Although we have a loyal customer base of regulars it is important we maintain this relationship by continuing to meet and exceed their expectations.
'It was pleasing to see that customers found our staff experienced, helpful and willing to go the extra mile whilst creating a friendly atmosphere within each individual branch.
These results have set a benchmark whilst ensuring we stay first for all our customers' plumbing supplies.'.
