Drivers Jonas LLP secures planning permission

Drivers Jonas LLP has successfully secured the planning permission for Phase 1 of a Fire and Rescue Training Centre in Cambuslang.

The permission follows on from the outline planning permission won by Drivers Jonas in October 2008.

Phase 1 of the development for Strathclyde Fire and Rescue Service comprises an academic building, practical facilities building, practical training buildings and revised access and ancillary works.

Ensuring compliance with Scottish Planning Policy 6, Renewable Technology, the development includes the provision of a biomass boiler and a 15kw 15m high wind turbine.

Drivers Jonas LLP is at the forefront of advising the police, fire and rescue and ambulance services on property and construction related matters and have an experienced emergency services team dedicated to the successful delivery of projects within this sector.
